Ripet is an Italian manufacturer of innovative reverse vending machines (RVMs) and patented compaction solutions for the collection and recycling of beverage containers. With more than 1,000 machines already installed and operating across Italy, Ripet has developed extensive experience in the design, manufacture and management of efficient collection solutions for PET bottles and aluminium cans. Our machines are DRS Ready and designed to support the evolving requirements of Deposit Return Schemes across Europe. They combine advanced recognition technologies, including cameras, barcode readers, weight and shape recognition, with a patented high-performance compaction system. The patented compaction technology can reduce the volume of collected PET bottles by up to 90%, allowing up to 6,000 pressed bottles to be stored in just 1 cubic metre. This dramatically improves the efficiency of the entire collection process, reducing the frequency of collections, transport requirements, handling operations, labour needs and logistics-related CO₂ emissions. Ripet machines are engineered with reliability and operational efficiency in mind.
