The PKOM 4 is a Passivhaus Certified compact service unit. It provides whole house heat recovery ventilation, with one integral heat pump for space heating or cooling and uniquely, another heat pump for simultaneous domestic hot water and storage, all in one space-saving appliance. It is particularly well suited to highly insulated houses or flats of up to circa 125m² with a heating demand of less than 4kW. With no sacrificial anode to worry about replacing, maintenance costs are kept low and alongside refrigerant with a GWP of less than 4, this system ticks all the boxes for your clients! At this event we will be showcasing one of our flagship products – the Pichler PKOM 4A compact service unit. It provides a whole house solution for heat recovery ventilation, with ONE integral heat pump for efficient space heating and cooling and a SECOND heat pump exclusively for heating domestic hot water, ensuring heating is never sacrificed for hot water.  Despite this all-in-one unit holding an impressive 220L of water, it has a compact footprint of only 0.54m² and is designed to be situated inside flats and small houses of up to about 140m² where space is at a premium. This unit is suitable for homes that are built at, or towards Passivhaus standards with peak heat loads of under 4kW (20W/m²). If you are specifying homes where you want to reduce project build times, carbon footprint and on-going maintenance, whilst keeping your occupiers out of fuel poverty and in a healthy environment, then this is the system to specify.
